In 1994, he relocated to California and quickly became a fixture in San Francisco’s dynamic party culture, producing murals and installations for local promoters and gaining recognition within the rave and festival communities.

By 1999, Craig had taken on the role of Art Director for Tantra and Blue Room Released—an influential London-based record label with a San Francisco presence. That same year, he created large-scale installations for Thump Radio’s Boomtown camp at Burning Man, further establishing his reputation in the emerging Bay Area underground art and music scene.

In 2004, Craig moved to Tucson, Arizona, where his work evolved to foster more grassroots inclusion. He joined the collaborative studio Solar Culture in 2005 and went on to co-found PLAY Gallery in 2008, curating exhibitions for local artists and organizing monthly community projects in collaboration with local businesses and charities. In 2009, he became co-director of Flow Gallery. His work remains on display at Solar Culture Gallery, the YMCA, and other public spaces throughout Tucson.

Now based in Manilva, southern Spain, Craig continues to explore and share his creative vision through both private and public work. Recent projects include live painting sessions at The Boab Tree restaurant in Estepona and large-scale murals for local businesses—most recently concluding a commission for the long-standing and much-loved dog rescue organization ADANA. Whether working in galleries, community hubs, or open-air venues, Craig’s focus remains on connection—between art, place, and the people who engage with it.

Shows

Group Show, Fusion Art Gallery at Villa El Martinette, Marbella, 2024
Work on Display, The Boab Tree, Estepona 2024 – Present
Group Show, Relevanz, Liepzig, Germany, 2016
Group Show, Flow Gallery, Tucson, AZ 2009
Group Show (POP-UP), Dinnerware Gallery, Tucson, AZ 2009
Group Show, Rocket Gallery, Tucson, AZ 2009
Group Show, Arts Incubator, Tucson, AZ 2008
Work on Display, PLAY Gallery, Tucson, AZ 2008 – 2009
Work on display, Hotel Congress, Tucson, AZ, 2007
Work on display, YMCA, Tucson, AZ, 2005 – Present
Work on display, Solar Culture, Tucson, AZ, 2004 – Present
Work on display, Dogger Fisher, Edinburgh, Scotland, 2003
Work on display, San Anselmo, California, 2002
Solo show, Mill Valley Books, Mill Valley, California, 1999
Work on display, Palm Springs, California, 1999
Work on display, Prescott, Arizona, 1998
Work on display, Mamones, San Francisco, California, 1997
Group show, Campbell, California, 1995
Work on display, Edinburgh Museum of Art, 1982

Many private shows and functions
Sales to many private collectors in the US, EU and the UK
Commissions for public display

Employment

Co-director, Flow Gallery, Tucson, AZ, 2009
Co-owner / Director, PLAY Gallery, Tucson AZ, 2008 – 2009
Art director, Tantra, San Francisco, CA, 2000 – 2001
Art director, Blue Room Released, San Francisco, CA, 1999
Art director, Plexus, Edinburgh, UK, 1991 – 1992

Contact

Email: aliascubik@gmail.com
Phone: 646 535 0071 (US) +34 711065058 (SPAIN)

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][ts_image animate=”yes” animation_type=”fadeInLeft” image=”2501″][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1740316831525{padding-top: 11px !important;}”][ts_image animate=”yes” animation_type=”fadeInRight” image=”2496″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row section_background_color=”#000000″ use_predefined_class=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1740316608086{padding-right: 5% !important;padding-left: 5% !important;background-color: #131313 !important;}” el_id=”paintings”][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner css=”.vc_custom_1740172912315{padding-right: 5% !important;padding-left: 5% !important;}”][ts_side_content animate_block=”yes” animation_type=”fadeInLeft” title=”Bio – C Wilson Fraser”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1740172912315{padding-right: 5% !important;padding-left: 5% !important;}”][vc_column_text css=””] Drifting somewhere between dreamscape and desert dust, my art emerges from a place where the internal and external blur—where memory, movement, and light converge.
